8-24 Late Morning Links

Starting today, we will try and link you to more New Jersey Devils coverage on the Internet besides just our stuff here at Pucks and Pitchforks.  The New Jersey Devils fanbase is a smaller bunch compared to other big markets and we all want to get as much info as we can on our favorite team.  So here goes nothing!!

From the Utica Observer Dispatch, Don Laible takes a look at the years the New Jersey Devils had a minor league affiliate in Utica, NY.  Devils General Manager Lou Lamoriello is quoted throughout the interview and there is also mentions of head coaches Robbie Ftorek and Herb Brooks.  Also quick note of Devil minor leaguers past and present in Nick Palmieri, Tim Sestito and Steve Zalewski.  CLICK HERE for the full story.
