Tim has always been an on-the-brink player for New Jersey as he has 69 NHL games for the Devils but only 3 Assists in his NJ Devil career. With 23 points in the AHL this season and also a fair amount of points over his AHL career, he is a player that still could have a little more in him as he is turning 29 in August. The Devils use him quite often for depth in the NHL and for a minor contract that will only hit the salary cap minimally, he should be an easy keeper for the Devils.
