New Daily Poll: Picking the Devils’ Top Prospects

With most of the content referring to the NHL squad, it seemed like a good opportunity to take a look at the AHL talent in Albany. This series will cover all of the positions and will probably work it’s way into the New Jersey Devils’ squad and even possibly into other teams’ NHL rosters.

I love doing these polls simply because they show what the rest of the community thinks and also, at the end of the year, will serve as an “I told you so” moment or a “Wow. I was completely wrong.” moment.

First we will start with the left wingers.

All numbers are the stats for the 2012-13 season.

While top LW prospects are “NHL Ready” (Joe Whitney, Reid Boucher), some are still trying to prove themselves (Mike Hoeffel, Riley Boychuk) some are on the cusp of being ready to take a full-time look at the NHL (Stefan Matteau, Harri Pesonen).

Every guy will be fighting for that NHL roster spot so it will be interesting to see if someone can pull the rug out from underneath another contender for the spot.

What LW Will Have the Most Points This Season?
