Daily Poll: Top C Prospects

The Devils currently only have 3 centers listed in their reserves in Albany.

David Wohlberg

David will be starting his second full season at Albany. Last year, his first full season, he played in 36 games and had 4 goals and 5 assists.

That shouldn’t be all you judge him by though. Before he finished off the last portion of his 2011-12 year with 6 games (1 point) with Albany, Wohlberg had just finished 4 years of play at the University of Michigan. He had 20+ points every year and his best year came his senior year when he had 33 points (16 goals, 17 assists).

Rod Pelley

Last season Pelley played for the Norfolk Admirals and played in 60 games for them. He had 3 goals and 7 assists. Pelley had played for the Devils from 2006-07 to 7 games into 2011-12. In a New Jersey Devils uniform Pelley has 26 points in 211 games.

Tim Sestito

Besides whoever may be sent down from the NHL roster, Tim Sestito probably has the greatest chance to be promoted. He has played at least one game in the NHL every season since he played 1 (yeah, but it counts) with the Edmonton Oilers in 2008-09.

Last season he played 6 games in New Jersey but had 0 points. In Albany, he played 67 games with 7 goals and 16 assists. The year before he played in 18 games in New Jersey (0 points) but played in 45 games in Albany (19 points).
