Damien Brunner – Probably the most fun to watch so far, Brunner has given 110% every game to this point. He has 4 points in 4 games including 3 goals. He has shown a lot of hustle so far this season and has proved that he really wants to play for New Jersey. He has great hockey instinct and always seems to find a way to be in the right place at the right time. Something seems to be clicking between him and Travis Zajac as they continue to practice together.

Damien Brunner leads the team in goals (3), powerplay goals (1), tied for first in shorthanded assists (1), and leads in shots on goal (17). He is also tied for first in points with Marek Zidlicky (4).

He is averaging just under 16 minutes on the ice per game and has a smaller shooting percentage than most Devils, but that is due to his high shot count. If you want to nitpick, he has a -3 but it is hardly his fault as he is producing as much as possible. Today, Brunner practiced with Travis Zajac and Rostislav Olesz on his line.
