Help The Devils Choose A New Goal Song!!

As I am sure everyone of you already know, the New Jersey Devils are in need of a new goal song! Since there was an uproar by the fans about their choice of Bon Jovi’s “This Is Our House” the team has decided to give the fans a chance to pick!

Please take your time to help choose a new goal song for our beloved Devils! You can vote here:

The song with the most votes will be played on November 2nd against the Philadelphia Flyers. Make sure it is a good one!

I voted twice, the first vote was for Bruce Springsteen’s “Seaside Bar Song”. It is a different kind of song, but The Boss is iconic for Jersey. Also, if you listen to the live performance in Philadelphia, the whole crowd claps and sings with the song. I think it would sound great in the stadium.

My second vote was for Naughty By Nature’s “Hip Hop Hooray”. Naughty By Nature is a hip-hop group from East Orange, New Jersey, which is just minutes away from Newark. The song opens with the Ayyyyyy, ohhhhh, ayyyyy, ohhhhh that I am sure everyone has heard at some sporting event. It will give something the whole stadium can chant with, and also they can swing their arms back and forth like Naughty By Nature. Not to mention they are pretty much from Newark, sticking with the “We Are Jersey” theme.

These are some minority and weird choices, I know, but they are better than the songs by Bon Jovi and Fall Out Boy in my opinion.

Please leave your song choice in the comments below! I really would like to see what my fellow fans want to hear!
