New Jersey Devils (1-5-3) Vs Vancouver Canucks (6-4-1)

TV - MSG Plus
Radio - WFAN 600 AM, 101.9 FM

Season Series: The Devils travelled to Vancouver on October 9, but lost 3-2 in overtime. Cory Schneider played in Vancouver for the first time since being traded to the Devils.

Big Story: The Devils will start Cory Schneider over Martin Brodeur for the third straight game. The Devils look to have selected their starting goaltender for the season. Defenseman Eric Gelinas, 22, will make his season debut in place of captain Bryce Salvador who had to tend to some family issues.

Team Scope:
New Jersey - The Devils are off to a slow start this season, but are 1-0-1 at home and looking to improve on that. The home ice seemed to help the Devils this past Saturday against the New York Rangers. Schneider is getting his third straight start to give him some consistency.

Jaromir Jagr has three points in the last two games and is looking to stay on his hot streak in tonight’s game.

Patrik Elias will return to the ice after battling the flu for the past few games, which will help the Devils offensively after only scoring one goal against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Vancouver - The Canucks are entering their sixth of a seven game road trip. They are coming off of an overtime win against the New York Islanders on Tuesday. They are currently 4-2-1 on the road this year and 3-1-1 on this current road trip. They are hot and can do some damage.

The Canucks are out of winger Jannik Hansen who got injured late in the game against the Islanders.
