New Jersey Devils Send Eric Gelinas Down, Looking for Move

The New Jersey Devils have optioned Eric Gelinas to Albany. This move is strictly temporary, according to Tom Gulitti, as they are trying to make a move to clear up a roster spot due to Bryce Salvador’s return.

The only way I see a trade happening is if it’s been in the works since Gelinas’ first game in New Jersey. The Devils will likely send either Mark Fayne or Peter Harrold to Albany but they must clear waivers first.

All logic points to Harrold being the odd man out after Fayne’s strong showings as of late.

With the Devils having an off day today, there was not too much news from the Devils camp today.
