Tonight, Albany will look to bring its winning streak to 6 games with a win over the Hartford Wolf Pack tonight at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY. The game will start at 5 PM EST.
Mattias Tedenby is coming off of a spectacular outing last night against Bridgeport in a 6-1 win. Joe Whitney also had a powerplay goal in the winning effort. Artem Demkov had a penalty shot goal while Mike Hoeffel and Chris McKelvie also had a goal. Keith Kinkaid came away with 23 saves in net.
While Tedenby is on loan, it is nice to see him produce in Albany to at least state his claim to being on the NHL squad when he has to return from the loan.
The Devils (16-7-1-1) currently sit at 2nd in the Northeast Division and 4th in the Eastern Conference. The Wolf Pack (9-13-0-3) have struggled this season and sit in 15th in the conference.
Hartford is coming off a shootout loss at home against the Adirondack Phantoms. Rookie Danny Kristo has continued to shine this season for the Pack with 10 goals and 9 assists in 23 games. D Aaron Johnson has 17 points this season, good enough for second on the team.
The Devils are 26-17-2-3 all-time against the Wolf Pack and are 3-1-0-0 this season.
Albany has also scored at least one powerplay goal in 10 consecutive games.
