Devils - The Devils are coming off of a big 4-1 game over the Montreal Canadiens Tuesday night. They have points in their last five games (3-0-2) and look to extend that streak tonight. Tonight will be the return of forward Patrik Elias who missed two weeks to “total body soreness” suffered on New Years Eve. His presence will definitely help the team out heading into a pivotal point of the season.

Cory Schneider will get the start tonight, he has given up just three goals in his last four starts.

Avalanche - The Avs have been playing lights out as of late going 6-2 in their last eight and winning in overtime Tuesday thanks to a 46-save game from Semyon Varlamov.

They sit currently third in the division and fifth in a very tough Western Conference.

Who’s Hot: Ryane Clowe is currently on a five game point streak, scoring one goal and six assists in that time. Avalanche defenseman Tyson Barrie scored two goals in his last game and now has three goals and three assists in his last five games.
