One of the most anticipated games of the 2013-14 season for the participating teams and the NHL themselves is finally here. The game today will be the second of 4 Coors Lite Stadium Series Games.

Here we go:

New Jersey Devils (22-19-11) vs New York Rangers (27-23-3) – Game 4 of 5 – New Jersey Leads 3-0 – January 26, 2014

The Devils have already clinched the season series against the Rangers but today’s game stands for more in this famous rivalry.

This game is even bigger when you realize that the Devils will be in third place in the Metropolitan Division with a win today. The Columbus Blue Jackets, Carolina Hurricanes, and Philadelphia Flyers all have the day off so the Devils can jump 3 teams in the standings.

Martin Brodeur will start the game he has truly deserved in his service for the New Jersey Devils for, well, forever. This is a game we all knew Brodeur was going to get even if it wasn’t official until yesterday.

The Devils have been surging lately and have only suffered 2 losses in their last 10 without gaining a point out of it.

This would be a huge game for the Devils to win for bragging rights, placement in the standings, and also for the nostalgia that is tied to this game.

In case you missed it, we now have a bet riding with the New York Rangers blog Blue Line Station on Twitter.

Loser changes their profile picture for a day AND there will be a special, obnoxiously glorified postgame article about the winning team.

You can follow all of that madness at @pitchforkedpuck and @BlueLineStation before, during, and after the game today.

Let’s show up today #DevilsArmy!!!
