The New Jersey Devils will play in arguably their most important game to date. The Red Wings are 3 points ahead of the Devils in the Wild Card standings. A win breathes new life on the season, while a loss could crush the team.

The Devils will be getting back D Bryce Salvador and F Damien Brunner after both missed the last two games due to injuries.

All eyes will be on Martin Brodeur as the trade rumors swirl. Things are looking less likely with him leaving now with the Minnesota Wild nabbing their backup but, hey, who knows?

All eyes will also be on Adam Henrique who looks to continue his blazing hot goal streak. He has come out of the Olympic Break on fire and looks to capitalize on his blistering hot streak to propel this team into the playoffs.

While Henrique has been scoring a lot, Patrik Elias has been assisting a lot. Elias has 4 points and 6 points since the break and both needed these streaks after a somewhat disappointing pre-Olympic campaign.

With the Trade Deadline looming and so many variables to figure in, this week will be very important for the New Jersey Devils this season.
