Devils TV – MSG+
Devils Radio – WFAN
Hurricanes TV – FSS
The New Jersey Devils and Carolina Hurricanes will meet for the last time at the Prudential Center this season. After the Hurricanes won the first game in Newark on November 27th, the Devils won the back end of the home-and-home in the PNC Center on November 29th.
The Devils need to capitalize and rebound off of their most recent loss to the Detroit Red Wings last night at the Joe Louis Arena. Due to the Canes losing last night to the New York Rangers, the space between the two teams remained at 4 points. With the Devils win, they can effectively put Carolina down for the time being and also move within two points of the Red Wings.
Carolina has been falling apart lately, recording a 3-7-0 record in their last 10 games and have only won 12 on the road this season.
Adam Henrique continues to impress after recording another 2-goal game and has now scored 7 goals in the last 5 games. He now leads the team with 21 goals and Jaromir Jagr is right behind him with 20. Jagr scored a goal last night as well.
In terms of teams around them in the standings, the Washington Capitals are facing the Phoenix Coyotes in Washington, D.C. The Ottawa Senators have already played their game today and beat the Winnipeg Jets to pull themselves in a tie with NJ. The Columbus Blue Jackets will be in Nashville, TN to take on the Nashville Predators and the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Boston Bruins in Tampa Bay, FL.
The Red Wings have the night off after playing back-to-back games.
