New Jersey Devils Select Center Joey Dudek 152nd

The New Jersey Devils have drafted center Joey Dudek with the 152 overall pick. Dudek is a young, average sized center, 5-foot-11 178lbs with some scoring touch.

Dudek, a New Hampshire native, played for Kimball Union (HS). In two years with Kimball, he scored 26 goals and had 86 points in 54 games. His goal scoring totals dropped in 2013-14 from 17 to nine, but his 35 assists were very impressive.

Dudek is committed to Boston College for next season and will develop into a very solid center in the Boston College system. Whenever you draft a Boston College player, you are getting a very talented and well-rounded player. This may be a steal for the Devils in a few years.
