NHL News Roundup: July 13, 2014

Welcome to today’s NHL News Roundup. With Free Agency continuing and a real scarcity for Devils news, there are other happenings around the league.

First, The Albany Devils Official Site reported on the new AHL rules regarding Overtime, among other things.

The New Jersey Devils released the official conference call in its entirety that announced Cory Schneider’s extension. It is really a good listen and I highly recommend listening to it.

This morning, John Fischer of In Lou We Trust took a closer look on Jaromir Jagr’s goals for the 2013-14 NHL Season. It is a cool in-depth look on all of the goals and has some very detailed analysis.

Jeff Howard of RedNBlack Hockey had the pleasure of speaking with former Devil Jim Dowd. They talk about his college career, Stanley Cup experiences, and current involvements with the team.

NHL.com reported on the new updates regarding Rich Peverley’s health after that scary blackout during the season.

If you have ever played NHL 14, you know that Malcom Subban’s potential is scary good. Here, NHL.com mentions how he is itching to climb the roster and is confident he can do so.
