2014 NJ Devils Prospect Camp: Full Roster

At the Prudential Center, the 2014 NJ Devils Prospect Camp kicks off with a full slate of draft picks and prospects.

There will be 3 Brodeurs here and none of them Marty. Anthony was drafted in the 2013 NHL Draft while Brodeur’s other two twin sons, Jeremy and William are unsigned invitees.

Thanks to Tom Gulitti, we have the full roster of players. There are a select bunch there today with very set limitations, such as in their first pro contract or unsigned invitees.

The unsigned invitees are:

Charlie Finn (Colgate)
Michael Ambrosia (Princeton)
Eric Faille (University of Moncton)
Jayden Hart (Prince Albert of the WHL)
Tom Hartnett (Wesleyan University)
Ryan Johnston, Darcy Murphy (Colgate)
Robert Lipsbergs (Seattle of the WHL)
Matt Lorito (Brown University)
Ross Mauermann (Providence College)
Matt Needham (Kamloops of WHL)
Ryan Rosenthal (Coquitlam of BCHL)
Brandon Shea (Quebec of QMJHL)
Tyler Wood (Brother of Miles Wood, Brown University)

Stefan Matteau and Reid Boucher are also attending under they guys with NHL experience category.

I will leave the rest to Tom Gulitti. You can check out his blog post here.

The only Devils’  picks from the last four drafts not on the roster (and not either already on their second contracts or already established in the NHL) are center Alexander Kerfoot (2012, fifth round), center Artur Gavrus (2012, sixth round) and defenseman Patrick Daly (2011, seventh round).

Daly gave up playing competitively two years ago. Kerfoot is coming off his freshman season at Harvard and Gavrus played this past season for Minsk Dynamo in the KHL.

I will ask about Kerfoot and Gavrus when I get the opportunity,. but as a player under contract in the KHL, Gavrus probably is not allowed to attend.

Stay tuned for more news on the NJ Devils Prospect Camp in the coming days.
