Friday Night New Jersey Devils Fights: July 25, 2014

Welcome to another edition of Friday Night New Jersey Devils Fights! This week will have the culmination of our first three weeks that featured Cam Janssen, Ryan Carter, and Eric Boulton.

So here is the fight that everyone probably saw coming, the faceoff line brawl between the Devils and New York Rangers on March 19, 2012. Thanks again to for the video.

Ryan Carter absolutely throttles Bickell in the beginning while Janssen was in a long duel as well. Carter ended up taking what he gave towards the end as he was hammered down on the ice and got cut open. Boulton had a rough fight against Rupp and had a hard time landing shots.

NBC showed at the end everyone’s favorite part of Devils vs. Rangers in 2012: Tortorella yelling at DeBoer. DeBoer would come back at him when they get into an argument later on in the playoffs.

What did you think of the fight? There was a lot of action and the fact that it is Devils vs. Rangers always adds to the bad blood and hostility between the two teams.
