Lance Del Plato [email protected] January 23, 1984 (28) I have been a passionate NJ Devils fan since the home opener of the 1996 season against Winnipeg Jets. My father was a businessman and knowing I had just picked up the sport and the Devils, he smashed a home run.....FREE front row seats! I was ecstatic! I first picked up on the Devils while in my Uncle's house in Staten Island one year prior. He and the boys were watching the Cup Finals - Devils vs Red Wings. I asked who we root for and he said anyone but the Devils. So you can see how this goes LoL. I loved the colors and I loved be the only Devils fan. 16 years later here I am in the midst of a college experience, having served in the Air Force for 3 years as a Supply technician. My passion for the game grows bigger every year as does my personal memorabilia collection. I joined PucksandPitchForks because it was the easiest way to make a name for my writing. It was free, along with a little bit of a qualifier :) I always wanted to try to write professionally; I love to read, and so that has driven this whole idea.
