Martin Brodeur is 4-1 in his last 5 starts and has been extremely impressive in that stretch. He has given up 5 goals in 5 games, 3 coming from a 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins. Before this stretch he was 0-2-2 with a pretty poor save percentage. Something has obviously turned around.

Brodeur also has a 2-game shutout streak that will be tested tonight against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.

Brodeur has played the most amount of games against the Philadelphia Flyers (2). He is 1-1-0 with only 1 GA in a tough 1-0 loss. He has a 0.50 GAA and has stopped 42 of 43 shots against the Flyers this season.

In November, he has started 3 times and has a 2-1-0 record with only 1 GA, the same goal in the Flyers game. He has stopped 57 of 58 shots and has a 0.34 GAA with a .983 save percentage.

He has played one game on a Tuesday this season and is 1-0-0 with 1 GA.

Brodeur has played one more game on the road compared to home (5 to 4) and he has not fared as well on the road. He has given up 14 goals, has a 2.78 GAA and an .891 save percentage. His last start on the road was the shutout against the Philadelphia Flyers however, so he will look to try to string some road wins together tonight.
