2013-14 Season Stats: 51-24-7, 109 points & 1st in Metropolitan Division

Key Additions: F Blake Comeau, F Steve Downie, D Christian Ehrhoff, F Thomas Greiss, F Patric Hornqvist, D Nick Spaling

Key Subtractions: D Deryk Engelland, F Brian Gibbons, F Tanner Glass, F Jussi Jokinen, F James Neal, D Matt Niskanen, D Brooks Orpik, F Joe Vitale

What to Expect: Its hard to believe a team who finished in 1st last season went through the summer that the Pittsburgh Penguins did. After firing Coach and GM, Pittsburgh is determined to not only win the division, but expects that the team they put together this off-season can win the conference and the cup. Losing significant names like Jokinen, Neal, & Niskanen, along with other quality players, it would be hard to see the Penguins dominant this season. However, New GM Jim Rutherford has done a brilliant job bringing in a group of talented players to help Pittsburgh reign supreme in the Metro again this season.

Prediction: 1st in the Division
