The New Jersey Devils could have some magic this season after a great showing in the preseason. Some of those players have to play out of their minds to keep this team afloat, and with that would come some awards.

The New Jersey Devils have more skill on its team this season than its had in years. Since Ilya Kovalchuk and Zach Parise left, this team has forgotten that offense is part of the NHL. Now, that’s all changed.

General manager Ray Shero has done a masterful job revamping this team from the bottom up. This team was missing the playoffs with one of the worst prospect pools in the league. Now, the team is deciding between multiple teenagers who could help them win now and in the future. That means this team’s talent pool could put them in conversations Devils haven’t been a part of in years.

With so much talent up and down the roster, the Devils have a real chance to win some awards. Obviously, the team would have to play well above its potential to get in these conversations, but clearly the Devils have the players who want to play to that potential.

So who could actually win awards this season? The names may surprise you.
