During that game, the hockey world paused for just a minute. Brian Boyle scored the first goal of the game, putting a rebound past Cam Talbot. During the loss to the Oilers, Nico Hischier had a prime opportunity to shoot the puck. He chose instead to pass to Taylor Hall, who already set him up with said prime opportunity. Hischier only has two goals on the season. Once those shots start going in, he’ll do it more often.
