1. Taylor Hall will be top 5 in scoring.

Last season, Hall’s 93 points were good for 6th, and he missed some time with injury. He also had a torrid pace led by his streak of points in 26 straight games in which he played. This season he may not have such a streak, but it is conceivable to believe that he will be more consistent from beginning  to end of the campaign.

2. Nico Hischier will be top 10 in Selke voting.

Nico finished last season 7th in Calder voting for rookie of the year. He has 20 goals and 32 assists for 52 points. He only had 6 power play points, so his 5 on 5 dominance should continue, and you’d expect a few more points via the power play. His two way game is all the rave, and the points on top of his stellar play in his own end, should earn him some votes.
