Taylor Hall Ends Up On The NHL Three Stars Five Times

This may seem like something that may not matter, but think about this, Connor McDavid only made it on the list once last season, and twice the season before when he won the MVP himself. Nathan MacKinnon led the league in Three Stars with four.

This isn’t what’s going to get him on the list for the Hart Trophy, but this would show just how dominant a season Hall is having. If for five different weeks he was considered one of the best three players in the league, something that no other player will likely do, he would get a ton of consideration for the MVP.

It will be difficult for Hall to do such a feat. Last year, when he was ridiculous, he didn’t get named to a three star list all season long. It was pretty stupid, since Hall had a 26-game points streak. Hall’s been named to the weekly top three six times in his career, so doing it five times in one season is an underrated feat.
