10. Most Goals By A Goalie In Regular Season And Playoffs: 3

Martin Brodeur scored three goals in his career. That’s just really cool. Was this his most important record? Absolutely not, but it’s the most interesting record that is on his resume.

Only 14 goalies have ever scored a goal in a game, and Brodeur was the only one who scored three. Ron Hextall is the only goalie besides Brodeur who ever scored in a playoff game.

We all know that Brodeur was the best goalie when it comes to handling the puck. That’s not even an argument. That’s why it is no surprise that he went big a few games to try to get the puck on net. I mean, his biggest legacy he left on the game was the trapezoid. They literally changed the rules because Brodeur was basically a third defenseman on the ice at all times.

What’s even more impressive, is that one of his goals was a game-winning goal! Against the Philadelphia Flyers back in February of 2000, Brodeur’s goal was the third for the Devils with about ten minutes remaining. It ended up being the one that gave the Devils a 4-2 win.

This ends up at number ten because one of those goals was a total fluke. While facing the Carolina Hurricanes on March 21, 2013, he was the last Devils player to touch the puck. The Hurricanes pulled the goalie when the Devils took a penalty. They ended up putting it in their own net.
