The New Jersey Devils are having a terrible season but there are three players who have been awesome and should keep it up.

The New Jersey Devils are having a season to forget. They went into the year with all of the hype but haven’t even come close to living up to it. They blew a 4-0 lead on opening night and since then it has been an absolute disaster. This team is going nowhere this season so we have to just watch and wonder where they will go from there. They have a lot of great young pieces in place after winning the draft lottery twice in three years. They will be in the lottery conversation once again this April.

One thing that is important to them going forward is the play of certain individuals. They are a team that has no expectations as a team, but they do need certain players to play well. The future of the team depends on a few significant players having successful development. It also hinges on a few of their current roster players continuing to do what they are doing. They are going to be on the lookout for a coach and general manager this summer that will help them achieve that.

There are a few players there that have been awesome this year despite the position of the team. These players are likely all going to be here for the foreseeable future so they need to keep up this great play for the final stretch of the season. It is going to be tough after the trade deadline to win more games than they lost but these three players just need to keep doing what they’re doing:
