The New Jersey Devils have a bunch of retired players that would be fun to see get Twitter accounts like Eli Manning.

The New Jersey Devils have some players that have awesome personalities online right now. It is fun to see guys like Connor Carrick, P.K. Subban, and Nico Hischier having some fun, but it isn’t like every player on the team is a Twitter guy. You can’t even say that there are lots of alumni who are big into Twitter or interacting with fans online.

A lot of people who root for the Devils also root for the New York Giants of the National Football League. Their former quarterback, Eli Manning, just retired and finally showed his personality online. Over the weekend, he made a Twitter account so he can take part in the mad world of tweeting. It was perfectly in time for him to live-tweet his brother Peyton Manning in a gold match with Tiger Woods against Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson.

Well, people can argue all day about whether or not Manning should be in the Hall of Fame, but nobody is arguing that he is a fun guy to have on Twitter. Now the question remains, what New Jersey Devils alumni would it be fun to have on Twitter? There are plenty of them that would be fun to see them interact with fans more. We have seen some of them make appearances along the way but seeing some in the spotlight of Twitter and interacting with fans would be special.
