The New Jersey Devils might need to add goaltending depth.

It has been pretty well documented that Mackenzie Blackwood was awesome for the New Jersey Devils in 2019-20. They didn’t get much help from their backups, however, and that made their record terrible. It obviously isn’t the only reason they were a bad team, but it is clear that Blackwood needs a better backup or perhaps even a platoon option. There are plenty of free-agent options out there to be discussed and maybe the Devils will go for one of them.
