Mackenzie Blackwood

Mackenzie Blackwood as the Devils starting goalie has been incredible and is quickly being noticed by the league and not just Devils fans. His play is what saves games for the team and kept them competitive in a few that could have been bad. Rocking a save percentage above .930 is amazing, and he should be in the conversation for the Vezina Trophy as the only goalies ahead of him are currently Andrei Vasilevskiy, Marc-Andre Fleury, and a soon to drop off Mike Smith. Every Devils fan knows that Blackwood is one of the best in the league.

Scott Wedgewood

In 5 games this season, Scott Wedgewood is 1-3-1 but with a .901 save percentage. He has given them a chance in every game. This is a vast improvement over the last few seasons where the Devils would lose each and every time Blackwood was not ready to go. It is a small sample size, but the early results have been positive and his numbers should be trending up.
