The New Jersey Devils have two options moving forward and we are going to look quickly at the get better now option. A lot of teams are struggling like the Devils are this season. Some are struggling to many people’s surprise, so a quick move is easily attainable right now, and moving towards the trade deadline the Devils have to do something.

Trade One

The Chicago Blackhawks are about to have a semi-rebuild by the sounds of it. One name that has been coming up that seems baffling is Alex Debrincat’s. If he is available, the Devils have the option to go for a legit high-end goal scorer and they should be all in for it.

They could offer a super high pick and a former 1st rounder who is NHL bound in a year or two which would speed things up for them. The Blackhawks lost their first-round pick this season in the Seth Jones trade. So, getting a pick where they would presumably pick would be desirable Shakir Mukhamadullin is playing alright in the KHL though he doesn’t get too many points. and Holtz is doing really well in the AHL. They should be more hesitant to trade the young goal scorer but they have not developed a true goal scorer in so long making the deal might be the right move with how good DeBrincat is and putting him with Jack Hughes and Yegor Sharangovich would give them a crazy offensive line.
