New Jersey Devils Milestones on the Horizon This Season

Congratulations Devils fans, you’ve made it to August. And that means in just two months, New Jersey Devils’ hockey will be back. After a record-breaking season in 2022-23, GM Tom Fitzgerald added some new pieces while keeping the core group together for another run at Lord Stanley’s Cup.

When the regular season officially kicks off on October 12 at the Rock against the Detroit Red Wings, here are some personal and team milestones that will be in grasp for your favorite team.

Nico Hischier (22nd) and Jesper Bratt (25th) will likely crack the top-20 list of most points in franchise history. Jack Hughes is 41st on that list, two points shy of surpassing Taylor Hall’s 208 points during his time in New Jersey. With six wins this season, Vitek Vanecek will pass Johan Hedberg and move into 10th in franchise history.
