Nico Hischier
Team Switzerland

This is another lock to make the Olympics next year, barring injury. Nico Hischier is one of the best Swiss players in the world right now. It's either him or Predators defenseman Roman Josi at this point. There are 11 active Swiss players in the NHL right now, and most of them are really good. This team will be incredibly top-heavy, but a line with Hischier on it should be hard to stop for any team. He's very, very good, and he should be able to showcase that on an international stage.

Timo Meier
Team Switzerland

When Devils fans saw Timo Meier and Nico Hischier playing together for Team Switzerland at the 2021 IIHF World Championships, that's when it became clear they should play together forever. They had instant chemistry, and their styles really meshed well. While that hasn't immediately worked out in New Jersey, they are always better together than apart. They should be back on a line together in Milan. Hopefully, he gets in a goal-scoring groove, and that helps when he returns to New Jersey for the second half of the year.

Jonas Siegenthaler
Team Switzerland

Finishing the trio of Swiss players, Jonas Siegenthaler is a pretty good bet to make the team next year. He should easily be one of the six best defensemen from his country. He’s been one of the best defensive defensemen in the NHL. Adding that element to Olympic hockey should be interesting. He’s been incredible at stopping teams in their tracks. The Swiss will want that type of presence on their blue line. They will likely also add Akira Schmid to get the old Swiss band back together.
