Jack Hughes - Expected Goals For (70.64%)

Jack Hughes has been a scoring chance generating automaton this season for the Devils. He is currently second in the NHL with his team generating 70.64% of the expected goals with him on the ice in all situations. He's also simultaneously become much more responsible in his own zone, with his 2.1 expected goals against per 60 minutes ranking 51st out of 595 qualifying players.

Jesper Bratt - Power Play Scoring Chances For (1.43 Scoring Chances/min)

Bratt has very often been the Devils best player this season. Nowhere is he more lethal, though, than on the Devils' power play. He is generating scoring chances at the highest rate in the league, with almost one and a half scoring chance generated per minute of ice time on the power play. It has resulted in 13 power play points, second in the league behind Carolina's Martin Necas.

Stefan Noesen - High Danger Changes For on the Power Play (17, T-5th in NHL)

Noesen has been an incredible find for the Devils and perhaps GM Tom Fitzgerald's best signing of the offseason, as his flexibility to play up and down the lineup has given the Devils the depth scoring they have lacked. But despite Noesen having played an average of 169:45 minutes on the power play with Carolina the last two seasons, it was still surprising to see Noesen grab a spot on the Devils PP1 out of camp. He has remained a mainstay there all year and is generating the 5th most scoring chances this season, including this goal that drew the Devils even against the Islanders late.
