Now that we are heading into mid-to-late February, it means one of the NHL’s premier regular season events is upon us: the Stadium Series. This season, the Devils get to take part in the fun, as they will face the Philadelphia Flyers in a game that will involve one team looking to hang onto a playoff spot while the other hopes to force their way into one.

If you’re interested in catching the game this weekend but if you aren’t sure about when or where it’s taking place, or if you just need to find out what channel it’s on, keep reading.

When do the Devils and Flyers square off this weekend?

Catch the action on Saturday, February 17th, and see if the Devils can disrupt what has been a surprising season for the Flyers.

What time will the two teams face-off, and how can you tune in?

This nationally televised event will occur at 8:00 PM EST, so we are looking at a game that will take place under the stadium lights. Attending this contest would be fun, but if you aren’t in the area or if you choose not to attend, catch the action on ABC. If you are looking to stream the contest, you can do so on ESPN+ or fuboTV.

"fuboTV has live NHL games on ESPN which you can stream from your phone, television, and all your favorite devices. This is a service that broadcasts live TV over the internet, no cable is required. Watch your favorite teams, network shows, news, and movies on 100+ channels. Which venue is hosting the Stadium Series this weekend?

The Devils will be in their backyard for this game, as it will take place in the Meadowlands at MetLife Stadium. This will give New Jersey home-ice advantage, so there is a good chance they will continue to build on their brewing momentum with what should be a strong contingent of their own fans in attendance.

Game odds

The Devils are listed as minus-1.5 favorites vs. the Flyers, per FanDuel. The over/under stands at 6.5, while the Devils moneyline is minus-154.

What Devils fans must watch for

While the Devils haven’t enjoyed a great season so far, the Stadium Series is one way they keep some recent momentum going. Lately, however, this team has been over 0.500 points-wise, and they are only a few outside of overtaking one of the Atlantic Division teams for a wild card spot. Obviously, there will be a big reward in getting the two points on Saturday, but they also need to slow down the Flyers momentum, and that could pay dividends down the stretch.
