March 19 vs Pittsburgh Penguins

The March 19 game against the Pittsburgh Penguins will be the first (and presumably last) time the Devils will be wearing their Stadium Series jerseys at the Prudential Center. It was announced that this game would give fans who didn't go to the Stadium Series game a chance to see the team play with these jerseys. This likely will also be one of, if not the only time fans can purchase Stadium Series jerseys and apparel from the team store.

In addition to wearing the alternate jerseys, the Devils will also be taking on a Metro Division rival that they've had recent success against. The Devils have won six straight games in their head-to-head matchup against the Penguins. And with points at a premium, especially against division rivals, this game is more than just a chance to see them wear the Stadium Series jerseys.

April 15 vs New York Islanders

Game 82. Short and simple. There is a greater than zero percent chance that game 82 could have serious playoff implications. Last season, the Devils were lucky to lock down a playoff spot well before game 82, but they did enter that game with the division on the line. This season, they take on an Islanders team that could very well be in the playoff mix with the Devils come puck drop.

The Islanders have proven to be a stingy team when they play the Devils. It could come down to one shot or one goal when they wrap up the regular season on home ice. The Devils will be grinding for every point in every game to finish out the season, and there's no reason to believe that game 82 will be any different.
