149. Nico Hischier

That is a good transition into Nico Hischier’s fantasy value. He is currently ranked 149th on NHL.com and that can go one of two ways. He could either be on of the biggest steals in the draft if he has vast improvement on the power play (only 6 of his 52 points came via the man advantage in 2017-18) and his 5 on 5 dominance stays the same.

The other thing that could happen is that he has a bit of a sophomore slump and is either perfectly rated at 149 or slightly over drafted. He should be fine on the top line with Hall and either Jesper Bratt or Kyle Palmieri on the right side. It is pretty apparent that the Devils expect big things from Nico Hischier for the next decade or more, and so should fantasy owners.
