152. Cory Schneider

Next on the rank is the one that is most worrisome. Cory Schneider is ranked 152, and that is a bit concerning.

There is really no questioning Cory’s natural abilities in the net, but injury and team defense has derailed his fantasy value over the last two seasons. Once seen as a top 5 fantasy goaltender, it’s hard to see him knocking on that door again.

The Devils will score plenty of goals this season, but giving them up may continue to be a problem. Cory is also coming off of a major surgery, and it is possible he misses a decent amount of the beginning of the season. A Cory Schneider/Keith Kincaid combo could work, especially later in the season, but Schneider is a high risk high reward type fantasy asset.
