New Jersey Devils: Prudential Center Ranked As One Of The Top Arenas
The New Jersey Devils home arena was just ranked as one of the best in the entire world. It’s amazing that after all this time, the Prudential Center still tops lists.
Every year, the International Entertainment Buyers Association votes on the best arenas every single year. This year is no different. However, what is different is the New Jersey Devils home arena is on the list this year.
The Prudential Center is constantly being named as one of the best hockey arenas in the country, but this one feels so much bigger. This is ranking all of the arenas in the world. Based on the organization’s website, this is the first time the Prudential Center has been nominated, despite it’s stance as top arena.
Now, the Prudential Center with all their accolades, don’t have many actual accolades. Do you know who does? The BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The BOK Center was ranked as the best arena in the whole world. That’s right. Say what you want about having an arena in Newark, NJ, but not many would guess Tulsa is home to the best arena in the world.
The BOK Center is once again in the IEBA’s list. Along with The Rock, MSG, T-Mobile Arena in Vegas, Golden 1 Center in Sacremento, Allstate Arena in Illinois and the O2 Arena in Manchester, England. It’s a great list of arenas, with some that one wouldn’t expect. However, many use this list as the pinnacle of arena rankings.

The Devils new ownership continues to try new things when it comes to arena presentation. Josh Harris and David Blitzer have tried different things, including instilling some local beers and restaurants and fixing up the city surrounding the arena. Sure, it’s been small adjustments, but clearly something is working.
Sure, the Prudential Center is more well known as a concert venue for the biggest names in music, but it will always have one team as it’s home owner. The Devils are the only professional team to call it home. Seton Hall also plays there, but do non-Devils fans know that?
Whether it’s Nicki Minaj, Elton John, Disney on Ice or the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience, the Prudential Center is one of the best places to see it all. However, above all else, it’s the best place to watch a hockey game.
