121. . LW. Arizona Coyotes. Taylor Hall. 91. player

The New Jersey Devils already had a relationship with Taylor Hall in the past. He was a great player for them for parts of four seasons. The peak of it all came in 2017-18 where he had 93 points and won the Hart Trophy as the league MVP. He willed New Jersey to the playoffs that year for the first time in five seasons. It was a lot of fun to be a part of that year and something all Devils fans should remember fondly forever.

The relationship didn’t seem to end well, however. He seemed disinterested in the team at the end and was traded to the Arizona Coyotes in mid-December. It wasn’t a pretty sight because he was so great for the Devils on most nights. He is one of the most talented players to ever pull on a New Jersey Devils sweater. It would be really cool to see him come to this team and win like he wants to do. He has always said he wants a chance to compete.

Well, if he came back, where would he play? You would have to think he goes right back to the top line as the LW1. The big question would have to be whether or not Nico Hischier or Jack Hughes would get the luxury of playing with him. Hischier and Hall have the known chemistry but Hughes was remarkably better in all areas before the trade than he was after the Hall trade. There is probably little chance that he comes back but it would be fun to see.
