Picks 4-6

72. . C. Detroit Red Wings. Cole Perfetti. 4. player

There are lots of rumors that suggest that the Detroit Red Wings will take Cole Perfetti with the fourth overall pick. He is a center that would make a lot of sense joining the current pool that the Wings have. With Dylan Larking leading the way, kids like Filip Zadina and Moritz Seider would really benefit from having a stud like Perfetti join them.

Detroit was the big loser of the Draft Lottery because they had the worst record and fell as far as they could to the fourth-overall pick. They are still going to get a great player in a deep draft but for as bad as they have been for the past few years, adding a kid like Lafreniere would have been really nice.

. D. Ottawa Senators. Jamie Drysdale. 5. player. 91

This is the Ottawa Senators second pick of the draft within three selections but this is the one that actually belongs to them. The first one was given to them by the San Jose Sharks in the Erik Karlsson deal before it won the lottery pick. Well, with this fifth-overall pick, they will be able to add a very good young defenseman to join the forward they already selected.

Jamie Drysdale is going to make an impact at the NHL level in short order. It might not be in 2020-21 but it should be not long after that. If he was able to join Chabot on a young Ottawa blueline they will be set for a while.

105. . LW/RW. Anaheim Ducks. Lucas Raymond. 6. player

Lucas Raymond is hard to predict in this year’s draft. There are people who legitimately believe he is the third-best player in the draft but certain needs and circumstances might drop him to Anaheim at sixth overall. He is a fantastic winger that should be able to play well with some of those young centers they have.

He is currently playing in Sweden for Frolunda Hockey Club. He is very successful over there and after a bit more development, there is a good chance that he is an impact player once he comes over to North America. Anaheim would surely be lucky to have him.
