Trey Matthews has been covering the New Jersey Devils since 2020. He graduated from Adrian College in May 2022 with a bachelor's degree in communication arts and science. He later obtained his master's degree in sports journalism from Arizona State University (Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication) in May 2024. In addition to his work on FanSided, he also hosts a daily podcast titled Locked On Devils. He has been a credentialed media member for the Devils since 2022.
