The New Jersey Devils are going national, at least for 13 games this season. Jersey's Team has been chosen for 13 nationally exclusive games on ESPN, TNT, and Hulu this season.
There are a few strange quirks about the New Jersey Devils' nationally televised schedule. First and foremost, the first game of the season will be exclusive to ESPN+ and Hulu, meaning the Devils' season opening against the Carolina Hurricanes on October 9th can't be seen on cable. That game was also moved from a 7 p.m. puck drop to 7:30 p.m.
They also won't have a home game on national television until March, when their March 3rd matchup with the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers will be on TNT. This starts a streak of four-straight games that will be on national television, including the first matchup of the Hudson River Rivalry when the New York Rangers head to the Prudential Center on March 7th, which will air on ABC.
