New Jersey Devils announce themes for 2024-25 promotional schedule
As we stand a little more than a week before the New Jersey Devils season, the team sent out official themed nights and promotional giveaways for fans to enjoy in the 2024-25 season.
The New Jersey Devils announced their promotional schedule for the 2024-25 season on Thursday. Devils fans anxiously await the announcement every year, as it allows them to circle their most anticipated dates on the calendar. Of course, we always want to be in the building for that anticipated Rangers matchup or the first time we can catch a glimpse of Macklin Celebrini on the San Jose Sharks, but it helps to also give fans a little memento from that night at The Rock.
During the Devils official home opener against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Devils fans will receive a rally towel. Who doesn't love a rally towel?
Some of the other giveaways this year include a Jacob Markstrom bobblehead (April 16), an NJ Devil hat (March 22), a camo-style military bag (November 10), and a toy block set (January18 and 19). Oftentimes, we learn about additional giveaways during the season, so stay tuned!
As always, the Devils went out of their way to honor the diversity that is New Jersey Devils fandom. Hopefully, they continue to make those amazing pre-game jerseys and auction them off, because they are true collector's pieces. Below is a list of those nights honoring different cultures and sets of hockey fans:

The Devils also announced a few nights of pure fun. We always get a Video Game Night, but this year, we'll see a live NHL 25 tournament, with the winners getting to play on the big screen! It's even more fun with Jack and Luke Hughes on the cover. They also did a night called "Jersey Rocks," which we love. We said the Devils should do more to celebrate New Jersey, and Jersey music is awesome. Other fun themes include Future Generations Weekend and Down the Shore. A full list below:
December 21, 2024 – Devils Down The Shore (vs. Pittsburgh at 7:00 p.m. ET)

The big news out of today's announcement was that the Devils would be adding a third name to the Ring of Honor. They added current assistant coach and career-long Devils legend Sergei Brylin to the Ring of Honor last season, joining Dr. John J. McMullen who was inducted about seven years ago. Who could be the next in the Ring of Honor? We find out on January 22nd.
